Come join us this Friday, May 1st at Suwanee Town Center for an evening of jazz from some of Gwinnett’s best high school jazz ensembles and a sampling of some of Atlanta’s best food trucks.
For me (Aaron, hi, how are ya), this whole journey began behind a drum kit in my middle school jazz band, banging out Jerry Lee Lewis and Herbie Hancock tunes. Those songs were awfully fun to play, and I wanted to know more about those artists, so I studied. Sun Records, Stevie Wonder, and Miles Davis were soon added to my punk & rock library, and I found new routes of musical expression and excitement. Please come out and support these young musicians as they take their journey and share their passion with the community at large. And that’s not even mentioning the fantastic food trucks that serve some of the most delicious food you’ve ever tasted. Last month, the food trucks sold out, and the lawn at Suwanee Town Center filled up fast, so get there early. The trucks start serving at 5:30, and the music starts at 7.
