Blackstar Beam Mini: 18W desktop amp with 12 electric guitar models, 3 bass & 2 acoustic voices, NAM capture, XpressFX, IP66 weatherproof rating, 18+ hr rechargeable battery, Bluetooth audio playback, and Blackstar's Super Wide Stereo sound technology.
The Blackstar Beam Mini redefines what a compact practice amp can do. Launched in early 2026, the Beam Mini packs 18 watts of component-level modeled power into a sleek, portable, desktop-friendly enclosure — delivering authentic tone that serious players would never expect from something this small. Whether you play electric, bass, or acoustic guitar, the Beam Mini is engineered to inspire practice sessions, fuel late-night songwriting, and keep pace with your life on the go.

At the core of the Beam Mini is Blackstar's advanced component-level digital modeling engine, designed to recreate the dynamic feel and responsive character of traditional tube amplifiers. The amp ships with twelve electric guitar models — six original Blackstar designs and six Ampton recreations of iconic amplifiers — covering everything from clean Fender-style headroom to searing British crunch. Add in three dedicated bass amp models, two acoustic voices, and a built-in acoustic simulator, and the Beam Mini covers virtually every playing scenario you can imagine.
Blackstar also included their patented ISF (Infinite Shape Feature) control, letting you sweep tonal character from American-voiced clarity to British warmth and everything in between. Combined with over 35 studio-grade effects and the XpressFX system — which adjusts multiple effects simultaneously with a single SpeedDial turn — shaping your tone has never been faster or more musical and intuitive.
The Beam Mini is the first guitar amp to natively support Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) captures. Through a partnership with TONE3000, players gain access to the world's largest open-source NAM library, with over 200,000 community-created captures of real valve amps and professional rigs. Whether you need a vintage plexi tone or a modern high-gain monster, the Beam Mini's NAM compatibility delivers an essentially unlimited tone library right at your fingertips. This level of tonal depth was previously unimaginable in a battery-powered desktop amp.
The Beam Mini integrates Moises AI stem separation, letting you isolate or remove individual instruments from any song. Strip out the original guitar part and play along in its place, or isolate a bass line or keyboard voicing to study every detail of a performance. This kind of intelligent, AI-powered practice tool was previously reserved for dedicated software — the Beam Mini puts it directly in your amp.

Blackstar collaborated with one of the UK's leading acoustics engineers to design the Beam Mini's sealed cabinet. Two 60mm full-range drivers and two passive bass radiators work together with Super Wide Stereo technology to deliver expansive, room-filling sound that genuinely defies the amp's compact size. The sealed, acoustically tuned enclosure ensures accurate, articulate guitar tones and excellent Bluetooth music playback.
The Beam Mini earns an IP66 rating — fully dustproof and weatherproof, a genuine rarity in the amplifier world. Combined with an 18-plus-hour rechargeable battery and USB-C charging, it is ready for busking, travel, beach sessions, or any situation where a wall-powered amp simply is not an option. Bluetooth audio playback and a studio-quality TRRS mic input round out the connectivity, making the Beam Mini a complete portable creative station for guitarists, singers, and songwriters on the move.
The Beam Mini's interface is built around a no-menu philosophy. The SpeedDial and Light Beam Display provide instant visual feedback for Patch, Gain, EQ, FX, and Volume — dial in your tone immediately without navigating digital screens. For deeper editing and creative exploration, the companion Beam app provides access to an expanding library of amp, cab, mic, and pedal models, plus thousands of artist-generated patches and CabRig IR cab simulation technology.
