I was looking for an overdrive pedal that wasn’t the old standards, you know TS808 or OCD. Aaron suggested I try the Greer Lightspeed and demo’ed it in the shop. WOW! AWESOME sound and true bypass. Plugged it into my Jackson Ampworks NewCastle hand wired 18 watt fire breather and the Lightspeed took the already sweet tone and added more sugar! Great responsiveness to pick attack and just enough boost and grit to get those ‘70’s and ‘80’s rock sounds without that muddy distortion other pedals regurgitate. Roll off the volume on my guitars and the cleans shine through, roll up the volume and ROCK THE HOUSE! Would recommend this pedal to the True Tone chasers, you know who you are, for an AWSOME tone matched by none I’ve heard so far. Thanks Aaron and Greer for an amazing pedal!
