UAFX Evermore Studio Reverb: Vintage Digital Ambience, Modern Stompbox

Short Description: The UAFX Evermore Studio Reverb delivers the unique grainy ambient tails and mesmerizing modulations of iconic late-’70s/early digital studio reverbs in a compact pedal. Featuring Room, Small Hall, and Large Hall programs, plus intuitive controls.

Full Product Description:

Rediscover the magic of early digital reverb with the UAFX Evermore Studio Reverb pedal. This compact and elegant stompbox captures the distinctive grainy ambient tails and mesmerizing modulations of the iconic studio reverbs from the late 1970s. Built upon the award-winning Hall 224 algorithms found in Universal Audio's flagship Golden Reverberator, Evermore gives you stunning ambient effects right at your feet, adding depth and character to any guitar, synth, or vocal signal.

Authentic Vintage Digital Reverb Emulation:

The Evermore Studio Reverb meticulously recreates the unique sonic characteristics of those groundbreaking early digital units. This pedal captures that distinctive texture and shimmer that are difficult to find in modern reverb processors, providing you with a truly vintage-inspired ambience.

Three Iconic Reverb Programs:

The Evermore offers three carefully crafted reverb programs, each capturing a different sonic space:

  • Room: Offers moderate to high initial density, with low to moderate coloration. Ideal for adding a subtle sense of space and natural ambience.
  • Small Hall: Provides moderate initial density and a moderately non-uniform decay, with a relatively bright overall sound and little treble decay. Great for adding a touch of shimmer and enhancing clarity.
  • Large Hall: Features low density and minimal coloration, optimized for long reverb times and creating vast, expansive soundscapes. Perfect for soaring leads and dramatic sound design.

Intuitive Controls for Shaping Your Space:

The Evermore Studio Reverb is equipped with a simple yet powerful set of controls:

  • Mod: Adjusts the amount of modulation applied to the reverb tail, ranging from subtle chorusing to a heavy warble. Adds a touch of vintage-inspired swirl and texture.
  • Mix: Controls the balance between the dry signal and the reverb signal, allowing you to dial in anything from a subtle hint of ambience to a completely immersive reverb wash. (Fully clockwise is 100% wet).

Interactive Decay Controls for Ultimate Tone Shaping:

The Evermore's Decay controls are interactive, allowing you to sculpt the reverb tail with precision:

  • Mid: Sets the basic decay for the reverb, controlling the overall reverb tail time. This knob is the foundation for your reverb sound.
  • Bass: Controls the reverb decay time for low frequencies (below 540 Hz). Higher values create a longer, more sustaining bass response, adding depth and warmth.
  • Treble: Controls the reverb decay for high frequencies. Adjusts the frequency above which decay is very rapid, producing longer treble decays. Lower values create a "darker" reverb, while higher values provide a brighter shimmer.

Flexible Bypass and Predelay Options:

Customize the Evermore's behavior to fit your rig and playing style:

  • Bypass Mode: Switchable between Trails (buffered) and True bypass. Trails mode allows the reverb tail to decay naturally after the pedal is bypassed, while True bypass provides a clean signal path when the effect is off.
  • Predelay Mode: Adds a slight delay before the onset of the reverb signal, preserving your instrument's attack and creating a cleaner, more defined sound.
